What the item does
Toggle: Transmute
Switches the item between two modes: one grants +25% spell amplification, while the other increases the attack damage bonus by an additional 250.
Passive: Everlasting
Dropped on death, and cannot be destroyed.
If an ally of the owner picks up the dropped item, Divine Rapier loses its properties until it is returned to its former owner. If an enemy picks it up, anyone can receive the bonuses from Divine Rapier after that enemy dies. A courier cannot pick up this item if it was dropped on death.
When I would buy it
Late, for a decisive play, when I knowingly accept the possibility of losing the item.
Components

Which heroes I would try it on
Examples based on mechanics. The role, opponents and team plan determine the final choice.
What to compare it with

Valve notes
- If Divine Rapier is dropped and picked up by an enemy of its original owner, it cannot be dropped again except by death.
- The spell damage bonuses from multiple Divine Rapier items do not stack.
