Rodnoy — a support in the spotlight

Dota wrote the drama.
We hit record.

Rodnoy got tired of the hard life of a support. He checks the map, keeps vision up, and holds a stun ready in case things don’t quite go to plan. Then he goes back for one more creep anyway. Because Rodnoy is a cat, and he has his weaknesses too.

We decided to record these games. A quick save can have a long backstory: who pressed the button in time, who covered the retreat, and why the teammate who just got rescued is already charging back into the fight. Those moments become stories. We add drama, memes, and sharp editing while staying true to what actually happened in the game.

Rodnoy is easy to recognize: black-and-white fur, amber eyes, and a long white whisker above one eye that sticks straight up. He usually looks as though he’s thought of everything. That’s part of the problem. He can save teammates, land stuns, place wards, get kills, and help carry the team. Sometimes he tries another role: a cat’s curiosity extends to hero picks, too.

And OOPS is the word for all of it. “Oops” after a mistake of his own. “Oops, still alive!” after an unexpected save. And a pleased little “oops” after a play that went especially well. Rodnoy can grumble, laugh at himself, and get right back to helping his team. We like watching an ordinary game turn into a good story — even when the plan has to change halfway through a fight.
