Terms of use · preview draft

A few ground rules.

Draft terms for using Oops Dota and contributing original material with clear attribution.

An independent fan project

OOPS DOTA is an independent Dota 2 journal by Ruslan. It is not operated, sponsored or endorsed by Valve. Dota 2 and its related game assets belong to their respective rights holders. The site is currently an open editorial preview; access does not mean every draft has been approved.

Learning, not a result guarantee

Articles describe ideas, observations and practice exercises. Game mechanics and third-party services can change. A match story is not a guarantee of MMR gains, a win, a skin value or earnings. Patch-specific claims should be checked against their visible review date and source.

Your contributions

Only propose material you created or have permission to share. Tell us about prior publication, collaborators and relevant sources. Sending a pitch does not transfer copyright or guarantee publication. Before using a contribution publicly, we will agree on credit, editing, translation, media permissions and the publication license with its author.

Links and conduct

External links are references, not endorsements. Do not send harassment, copied articles, private credentials or someone else’s personal information. The open preview has no accounts, comments, submission forms, transactions or live moderation service.

Details still to be confirmed

These draft terms describe the current open preview. Send questions and rights requests to [email protected]. Formal operator details, the full rights-request process and jurisdiction-specific terms remain to be confirmed. This page will be updated as those details and the available site features change.

Less fog. More answers.
