An icy blast followed by a wave of fire launches out in a path in front of Jakiro. The ice slows enemies, while the fire delivers damage over time.
Abilities, roles and builds with an explanation for every purchase.

HERO GAME PLANI block routes with fire and Ice Path, support the lane, and help with sieges.
Jakiro is their own best friend. Fire alone isn't enough for the twins: they freeze fleeing enemies to the ground and, while their victims burn, Jakiro tears down enemy structures with liquid fire.
My recommendation is a starting point. We choose another position together with the team and for its needs.
Help the lane, provide vision and keep the ally alive first; expensive upgrades follow the necessary team purchases.
I contribute through laning, control and movement. I adapt the expensive core route to my budget.
This is an editorial starting plan based on hero mechanics. It is not presented as a match I have already tested or a popularity ranking.
Here is my initial plan: I do my role's job first, then choose the items the team needs. I adapt the order and expensive purchases to the opponent.

Provide mana for laning and regular ability use.

Adds a protective tool and hides the chosen ally; invisibility does not replace escaping detection.

Moves me or an ally out of danger; direction depends on the target's facing.

Lets you use targeted abilities and items from a safer distance.

Unlocks or upgrades Liquid Fire, Liquid Frost. The exact effects are shown below in the abilities section.

I do not assign one ‘correct’ minute to every purchase. I look at my gold, the next fight and the problem: am I missing mana, target access, control or protection? If an expensive slot will arrive too late, I get a useful answer earlier.

The hero imbues an attack with liquid frost, slowing the target’s movement for 5 sec. and increasing the damage it takes from this hero’s attacks and other abilities. Does not affect buildings.

Jakiro exhales a wide line of lasting flames, which deals damage per second to any enemy units caught in the fire.

Increases duration and changes the damage type to pure. Ice walls appear on both sides of the line of fire, slowing enemies who enter them by 60%.
These abilities are not necessarily available at the same time. I check the condition beside the name: innate ability, another form or an Aghanim purchase.

Jakiro's attacks launch an attack from each head, but deal less damage each.
