What is confirmed
- BLAST SLAM IX is planned for 20–29 November 2026.
- BLAST’s 6 August announcement specifies an online event; the current tournament card lists 16 teams.
- At the time of checking, the page did not provide a completed bracket, named team list or announced broadcast channels.
Why the next SLAM is online
BLAST attributes the decision to a busy calendar and reducing teams’ travel. That is the organiser’s explanation. An older studio photograph does not establish that the final will return to LAN.
How I’ll make watching useful
For one map, I’ll pick one question: who provided vision before the fight, and who kept a save for an ally? I’ll note the timestamp and compare it with my own game. A build needs context before I copy it.
