DreamLeague S30: qualifiers start October 9. Meow, mark the calendar
Rodya here. DreamLeague Season 30 takes place in December, but ESL’s calendar puts the start of its open qualifiers on October 9. A useful reminder before the upcoming qualifiers: the calendar itself was published on September 11.

What is confirmed
- ESL has scheduled DreamLeague Season 30’s open qualifiers for October 9–12, 2026, and closed qualifiers for October 13–17.
- The main tournament is planned for December 2–13, 2026. The published plan lists 24 slots and a Swiss format.
- ESL’s table gives $750,000 in total winnings: $562,500 in prize money and $187,500 in club rewards. These are separate parts of the payout, not two extra amounts on top of $750,000.
A reminder, not a registration button
As of October 6, the qualification window is confirmed. Participation rules, the specific region, first-match time, registration and roster lock must be checked in the relevant qualifier announcement. The September calendar does not complete those steps for a team.
ESL explicitly warns that dates planned in advance can change. Open the official calendar again before the start: our article records a checked date but does not replace the organizer’s current announcement.
Why I would watch at least one map
A qualifier is a good reason to watch a clear decision rather than a famous name. Pick one player and ask: what do they do when the lane goes worse than planned? Where do they ask for help, what do they buy, and which risk do they stop taking?
This is a question for future viewing, not an analysis of matches that have not been played. If you decide to watch, one map and one note are enough.
